Allen R. Gerber, 87, Syracuse, died Jan. 6, 2024, in Goshen General Hospital.
He was born May 11, 1936, in Albion, to Valentine and Alma Mullett Gerber. On June 6, 1950, Allen married Dolores Hapner Gerber.
Allen served honorably in the U.S. Army before being discharged.

Titus Funeral Home of Syracuse, located at 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, will be entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held there on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Beginning at 1 p.m., a Life Celebration funeral will be held with burial to follow at Solomons Creek Cemetery in Benton Township.
