WINONA LAKE - Stryker Lawn Service is one of the eight businesses that now can be found inside the Winona Live building at 25 Kings Hwy., Winona Lake.
On Thursday, the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new location of the business that has been around since 2013.
Chris Thompson, owner of Stryker Lawn Service, said, “This is our new office location. It was out of our home/shop prior to this. We’re moving to our greater new location here at Winona Live, and we’re super excited about this opportunity to be more involved with our community than we already have been, and to really get our name more out there.”
Stryker offers many different services, he said, including lawn maintenance weekly, lawn renovations, landscape renovations, landscape installs, hardscape installs with bricks and stone and everything else, building retaining walls, paver patios, stormwater drainage solutions - commercial and residential as well as holiday lighting.
“We do seasonal potting, so if you want some flowers and things brought to your home, commercial site, we can change those out three times a year for you. We offer a lot,” Thompson said.
The website can be found at www.strykerlawnservice.com provides more information on what Stryker has to offer.
They have branched out their services to Plymouth, Fort Wayne, Columbia City, north to Syracuse and south to about the Silver Lake area. During the summer, they have about 10 to 15 employees, but Thompson said they are looking to expand that.
“We’re looking for some good, quality people. Even if you don’t know a whole lot, we can train you. Just make sure you have a bearing of what they’re doing and we’ll go from there, but we’re excited about it,” he said.
Office hours at Winona Live are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thompson said they may expand those hours to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the next month or so.
