AKRON – Lloyd E. Walters, 92, Rochester, and formerly of Akron, died at 11:55 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at his residence in Wynnfield Crossing.
Lloyd was born March 27, 1931, in Fulton County, to Harold and Irene McGriff Walters. He was married July 18, 1980, in Athens, Ind., to Linda L. Butt; she died April 7, 2023.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12 in the Rochester I.O.O.F Cemetery. A brief committal will take place for Lloyd and Linda at the conclusion of the graveside service.
The arrangements have been entrusted to Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Northern Indiana Community Foundation to the fund of the donor’s choosing.
