NORTH MANCHESTER – Monte L. Wilson, 79, of North Manchester and formerly of Akron, died at 11:56 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, at Peabody Retirement Community of North Manchester.
Monte was born on May 20, 1944, in Granite City, Ill., to Rev. Jack and Mary Wiltshire Wilson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving for 20 years. He married Mary Ann Ruff Wilhite; she died June 19, 2020.
Following his wishes, no services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
