Michael David McCleary, 77, passed away on his birthday, Feb. 11, 2024, in Dumaguette City, Philippines.
Mike was born in Warsaw on Feb. 11, 1947, and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1965. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mike is survived by his children, Patrick McCleary, of Chesapeake, Ohio; and Ruth Ann Brandin (Keith), of Apex, N.C.; his wife, Roxanne; and stepchildren, Michaela and Phillip, of Dumaguette City, Philippines; siblings, Brian (Rhonda) McCleary, of Warsaw; Becky (Gary) Buss, of Elkhart; and Nancy (Steve) LaSuer, of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren: Zienna and Willow McCleary and Nico and Oliver Brandin; and several nieces and nephews.
His ashes will remain in the Philippines with his wife.
