Danny B. Willard, of Silver Lake, passed away at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, at the age of 83.
Born in Murfreesboro, Tenn., to Lloyd and Gladis Willard on Oct. 4, 1940, Danny's journey in life was marked by hard work and a passion for woodworking. Throughout his career, he worked at Endicott Furniture in Warsaw and other furniture companies.
Danny found joy in traveling and fulfilling his hobby of building and installing church pews. His love for exploration and dedication to his craft brought him immense satisfaction and left a lasting impact on those around him.
Danny will be deeply missed by his loved ones, including his wife: Lucy Willard; sons, Danny (Toni) Willard and Steve Willard; stepchildren, Donnie Purdy and Brenda Purdy; as well as 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by his parents and siblings.
Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with the care of Danny and his family. His family is grieving privately. Per his wishes, no public services will be held.
