Chinworth Trail

Editor, Times-Union:
If I read correctly, the latest story on the Chinworth Trail says that it's impractical to build the extension on the south side of the river - and a quick glance at a map confirms that.
But though it's of little use to pedestrians, there is already an excellent bike trail on the south side of the river. There is almost no traffic on CR W 100N, and when I last saw it, the pavement was quite acceptable to vehicles that leave only one track. (I've no idea what our freezing-and-thawing winter may have done to it.)
One problem is that the first connection to Old 30 is 525W, but just before 100N crosses the Tippy, one can turn onto scenic Park-Schram Road and amble along the river to Crystal Lake Road.
