Two Injured In Two-Vehicle Accident

ELKHART COUNTY – Two Kosciusko County women were transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident in Elkhart County.
According to an Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office press release, at 6:07 p.m. Friday, Kari Shepard, 44, Syracuse, was driving westbound in a white 2020 Tesla on CR 52 approaching CR 29. Shepard did not see the stop sign and continued through the intersection, colliding into a 2021 gray Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Christina Miller, 52, Syracuse, who was traveling northbound on CR 29, through the intersection.
Miller was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for complaint of neck pain/head pain. A passenger, Kaeclin Shepard, 18, Cromwell, was transported to Goshen Hospital for complaint of neck/back pain.
Both drivers and the passenger were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
