The following people were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 2:57 p.m. Tuesday - Ashly Danielle Johnson, 33, of 403 N. Columbia St., Warsaw, arrested on two counts of misdemeanor failure to appear and three counts of felony failure to appear. No bond set.
• 5:59 p.m. Tuesday - Yolanda Aurora Mata Rios, 19, of 408 N. Elm St., Silver Lake, arrested for driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspension and on a foreign warrant. Bond: $450.
• 6:56 p.m. Tuesday - Sophia Elizabeth McMillan, 29, of 1307 Oriole Drive, Warsaw, arrested for battery against a public safety official engaged in official duty. Bond: $6,000.
• 9:31 p.m. Tuesday - Sandon Isaiah Allen, 34, of 1818 Sue Ave., Warsaw, arrested for driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspension. Bond: $450.
• 2:29 a.m. Wednesday - Matthew Wayne Graber, 41, of 111 W. Fourth St., Milford, arrested on a warrant. Bond not listed.

• 8:18 p.m. Monday - East CR 450N, Leesburg. Car hit deer. Driver: Lucas B. Stidams, 20, East Kiser Lake Road, North Webster. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

Incidents
• 5:55 p.m. Tuesday - A traffic stop was initiated for a person driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspension in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street, Silver Lake. Silver Lake Police Department investigated.
• 6:21 p.m. Tuesday - Fraud was reported in the 1100 block of North Crete Drive, Warsaw. KCSO.
• 8:52 p.m. Tuesday - A person driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspension was reported in the 1800 block of North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 1:11 a.m. Wednesday - A person was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia in the 300 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.

Boomerang Backpacks Program Expands To All Whitko Schools
LARWILL – Through funding received from the Whitley County Health Department/Health First Indiana Grant, Whitko Community Schools’ corporation nurse, Stephanie Meyer, recently announced the Boomerang Backpacks program will expand to students at Whitko Jr./Sr. High School and South Whitley Elementary School.

Jackson Attends Last County Commissioners Meeting
After 28 years, Brad Jackson has attended his last meeting as Kosciusko County commissioner. That occurred on Monday in the Kosciusko County Courthouse's Old Courtroom.
