Cardiologist Presents At Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital On Heart Health

In recognition of National Heart Month, Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital, 2101 E. Dubois Drive, Warsaw, is hosting a free education event on Feb. 20 about heart disease prevention, symptoms and treatment.
It’s not always easy to break old habits or make healthy changes, according to a news release from Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital. Join cardiologist Akindolapo Akinwande, MD, FACC, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital on Feb. 20, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. to find out more about some small steps that can have a positive impact on your heart health and potentially prevent heart disease or stroke.
This community session will take place in the hospital’s administrative classroom. Those interested in attending should RSVP by Monday, Feb. 16 by calling 260-435-7787, emailing [email protected] or reserving a spot on Eventbrite.
Akinwande is a board-certified cardiologist who diagnoses and treats patients with heart disorders such as coronary disease, heart failure and heart valve disease. Akinwande is also board certified in nuclear cardiology and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
