The Supreme Court

Editor, Times-Union:
The Supreme Court is supposed to interpret the Constitution faithfully. That isn't always the case.
The Dred Scott Decision was based on Article 4 Section 2 of the Constitution, which states that no person held in service or labor in one state that flees to another state is excused from service to their employer. That means that slaves weren't free just because they were in a free state. It required the Civil War to correct the evil of slavery since the Constitution at the time supported slavery.
The Supreme Court misinterpreted the Constitution in the Plessy v Ferguson Decision because Amendment 14 states that no state can enforce laws that abridges the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States. Everyone was supposed to be treated equally, which means Blacks that were citizens were to be treated just like Whites. Separate but equal violated the amendment. But Democrats didn't want to treat everyone equally and that continues today. They stole civil rights from Blacks.
The Roe v Wade Decision violated the Fifth Amendment, which states that no one could be deprived of life without due process of law. Since there is no law that demands the extermination of unborn lives, their lives can be protected. It is up to the states to craft laws that allow the extermination of the unborn; something Hitler and Communist countries have supported. Racists also support abortion since it allows them to exterminate those they consider undesirable. That's why I oppose racism and abortion.
When Governor Abbott refused to remove the razor wire, something the Supreme Court and Joe Biden wanted done, the Supreme Court violated Article 4 Section 4 of the Constitution which states that the federal government is supposed to protect states from invasion like what is happening along our southern border. Those who say Abbott must obey the ruling of the Supreme Court are in essence saying the Constitution must be violated. The invasion of our nation is one of the charges that could be part of the impeachment case against Joe Biden.

The Benefits Of A Data Center In Agriculture And Economic Growth
Editor, Times-Union: I’ve heard folks say I have prime farmland. What I haven’t heard mentioned are the eleven towers scattered across it - eleven towers that you have to till, plant, and harvest around. Heaven forbid you hit one. Planes that spray my fields can’t hit the full area because of these obstacles. I’ve got four irrigation units running to irrigate the best I can, where normally two would suffice.
