Editor, Times-Union:
To say “thank you” seems inadequate for the donations we received this year for Supermarket Sweep held at Kroger on January 31.
All of our services have been challenged with more people coming in for assistance. The event collected $38,000 worth of food, hygiene and baby items for Combined Community Services, Heartline and The Salvation Army.
Our appreciation goes to the students at Grace College, Mission Point Church and others who made this possible. Again we are grateful for this donation as we serve others in our community in the name of Jesus.
