Will history repeat in America?
If former President Trump is banned from ballots, he would be in good company. Even before the Fourteenth (14th) Amendment, President Lincoln was omitted from most of the Southern states’ ballots.
The main reason for omitting Lincoln was his views on slavery. Even being barred from several Southern states, Lincoln won. After the election, Southern states started leaving the United States and tried to start a new country. We all know what happened next - the Civil War - the war between the states - brother fighting brother.
If Trump wins or loses will America survive? Time will tell.
