Samuel R. Reiff, 95, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City.
Samuel was born on March 1, 1928, in Pierceton, to Ralph and Lillie Wissler Reiff. He attended Pierceton schools.
In Columbia City, on Dec. 30, 1950, Sam married Geraldine “Gerry” Reiff. They would treasure 69 years of making memories before her passing in 2019.

He knew every fishing hole in the area and loved trips to Wisconsin and Wyoming for fishing, hunting and family get-aways. He took pride in his immaculate lawn.
He is survived by his children: Tim Reiff, of Warsaw; Laura Kuhn, of Claypool; Linda Meza, of Harvest, Ala.; and Beth Reiff, of Huntsville, Ala.; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gerry; his parents; and his siblings: Mary Shroyer, Josephine Wells, Bill Reiff and Robert Reiff.
