Randy L. Ousley, 46, of Bourbon, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 in Bourbon.
Randy was born to Ronnie Hile and Regina Ousley on Jan. 26, 1978, in North Manchester. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1997. He married the love of his life, Karissa Leonard on July 6, 2002, and she survives. He worked for Slabaugh Metal Fabrication in Bourbon and for Chore Time for 16 years. He had just gotten his CDL and was very excited about that accomplishment. He was a Cubs fan, enjoyed motorcycles, his dog, Kane, fishing, coon, rabbit and deer hunting, reloading and gun smithing, making maple syrup, camping, traveling and watching his kids play sports. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them.
Randy will be dearly missed by his wife, Karissa Ousley, of Bourbon; his children: Derek Ousley, of Bourbon; Blake Ousley, of Bourbon; Taylor Ousley, of Bourbon; Kira Ousley, of Bourbon; his father, Robbie Ousley, of Fort Wayne; his mother, Regina Ousley, of Warsaw; his brother, Ryan (Kerri) Ousley, of Warsaw; his sister, Danielle Ousley; his sister-in-law, Melissa (Don) Weinberg, of South Bend; his mother-in-law, Cindy Leonard, of Bourbon; his nieces and nephews: Kalista Ousley, Brodey Ousley, Ethan Weinberg, Avery Hurd and Madeline Hurd; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by his biological father, Ronnie Hile; his father-in-law, Glenn Leonard; his maternal grandparents: Richard and Lura Holderman, Josephine and Dewey Yates and Burnis “Bud” Ousley.
A visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth.
A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastors Rick Johnson and Glen Hughes officiating.
The burial will take place in Bethel Cemetery, Bourbon.
Memorial donations may be made to the family or to Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN 46504, to help with funeral expenses.
