Donald “Don” Alfred Swinford, Pierceton, died Dec. 18, 2024.
Don was born in Richmond, Va., on Aug. 19, 1949, to Alfred Swinford and Mary Clyde Cooper. He was married to Laurie for 34 years.
He served his country with honor during the Vietnam conflict as a member of the Navy. He was an engine mechanic and was assigned to riverboats in Vietnam. To complete his service, Don was sent to Guam before returning to his home in Michigan.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Don’s care. The visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, at the funeral home, 2000 Sheridan St. Warsaw, from 1 until 4 p.m. A memorial service with Pastor Rick Hurley officiating will follow at 4 p.m.
