Guadalupe ‘Lupe’ Aguilar Medrano

Guadalupe “Lupe” Aguilar Medrano, of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, at the age of 51. He lost his battle with cancer and will be dearly missed by his family. They have comfort in knowing he is safe in the arms of his Lord, Jesus Christ.
He was born on Dec. 4, 1973, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, to Guadalupe Medrano and Gavino Aguilar. He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 25 years where he enjoyed attending Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Warsaw. Lupe worked for Royalty Roofing Company in Atwood for the past 22 years until his health started to decline. He was a hard-working man his entire life, and still continued to take part time jobs until his passing to help take care of his family that he loved.
Lupe was a wonderful, loving and caring husband and father. He leaves behind his wife, Graciela Galindo Aguilar, daughter, Jacqueline; and three sons: Omar, Bryan and Lucas, all of Warsaw. Also surviving are six sisters and five brothers.
Guadalupe’s life will be celebrated with a prayer service at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, and officiated by Father Wilson Corzo. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 4 to 5 p.m. and are welcome to visit after the prayers until 7 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
