Child Injured In Two-Vehicle Serious Crash

A 12-year-old was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Warsaw Wednesday night and eventually taken to Riley’s Children Hospital.
KCSO deputies and emergency personnel responded at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday to a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash that occurred on North Ind. 15, south of Monoquet Road, in Plain Township, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene and located a 2015 Toyota, driven by Kaila Conley, 32, Warsaw, and a 2008 Subaru, driven by Arwen Wilson, 18, Warsaw, involved in the crash.
Preliminary investigation determined that Conley was pulling out onto Ind. 15 from a business and pulled into the path of the Subaru driven by Wilson, who was northbound on Ind. 15.
Conley and Wilson were not injured in the crash.
A 12-year-old male passenger suffered head injuries and was transported to Lutheran Fort Wayne for treatment of his injuries. He was later transferred to Riley’s Children Hospital in Indianapolis.
The KCSO was assisted at the scene by the Warsaw Police Department, Plain Township Fire Department, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Crouse Wrecker Service and Kosciusko County 911 Dispatch Center.
The crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County FACT.
