Etna Green Man Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

While serving an arrest warrant on a residence in Etna Green Thursday, an Etna Green man was arrested on multiple drug charges and an Akron woman was arrested on warrants.
Cassidy L. Quimby, 47, Etna Green was taken into custody and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for dealing methamphetamine, level 2 felony; possession of methamphetamine, level 3 felony; possession of a syringe, level 6 felony; possession of cocaine, level 6 felony; assisting a criminal, level 6 felony; possession of a controlled substance, Class A misdemeanor; possession of marijuana, Class B misdemeanor; and false informing, Class B misdemeanor. His bond was set at $50,000 surety, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
Crystal M. Walker, 40, Akron, was booked into jail on a local and foreign warrant. Her bond was set at $750 cash for the local warrant and on hold for the foreign warrant(s).
On Thursday, Dec. 5, KCSO deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant at a residence in Etna Green. During the attempt to serve the warrant, deputies detected a strong odor of marijuana within the residence, the release states. Deputies then requested the assistance from Narcotics Enforcement Task Force (NET43) to assist with the investigation. NET 43 investigators executed a search warrant for the residence and located the following items:
• 350.3 grams methamphetamine
• Digital scales
• Used and unused hypodermic syringes
• 5.46 grams cocaine
• 18.5 grams mushrooms
• Marijuana
• $253 in cash.
• Drug paraphernalia
This drug arrest remains under investigation by NET43, according to the release.
