Warsaw Man Killed In Early Morning Single-Vehicle Crash

A Warsaw man was killed in a one-vehicle accident early this morning.
According to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and emergency personnel responded at 1:39 a.m. today to a single motor vehicle crash that occurred on South Country Club Road and East Winona Beach Drive. Upon arriving on scene, emergency personnel found a 1996 Buick Centra, driven by Justin Netherland, 29, Warsaw, involved in the crash.
Preliminary investigation determined that Netherland was traveling south on Country Club Road, lost control of his vehicle and exited the east side of the road. The vehicle then proceeded to hit a utility pole, continued down into a ditch and then came to rest against a tree.
Netherland was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office from injuries suffered in the motor vehicle crash.
KCSO was assisted at the scene by the Kosciusko County 911 Dispatch Center, Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw–Wayne Fire Territory, Lutheran EMS, Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office and Crouse Wrecker Service.
The crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County FACT.
