• 9:35 a.m. Monday - Donaldo Rosa, 47, of 376 W. Old 30, #70, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $300.
• 12:30 p.m. Monday - Shau Ri Sparkle Rose, 23, Mishawaka, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. No bond set.
• 2:15 p.m. Monday - Ramona Esmeralda Aguilar, 23, Goshen, arrested for driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspension. Bond: $450.
• 2:32 p.m. Monday - Jesse Hurst Messer, 57, Fort Wayne, arrested for felony failure to appear. No bond set.
• 2:45 p.m. Monday - Daniel Adam Joseph Zeringue Jr., 40, of 312 W. Crystal Flash Road, #18, North Webster, arrested for possession of methamphetamine and on a warrant and foreign warrant. Bond: $5,250.
• 5 p.m. Monday - Omar Tlahucl Ahualt, 25, of 1692 E. CR 200N, #214, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. No bond listed.
• 7:20 p.m. Monday - Azael Hernandez, 41, Fort Wayne, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $500.

• 6:55 p.m. Friday - North Ind. 13, 2,000 feet north of East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Two-car collision. Drivers: Marilyn M. Homme, 58, Rivercrest Drive, Warsaw; Seth T. Bickel, 61, Columbia, Tenn. Injury: Passenger in Homme’s vehicle, Curt R. Singrey, 65, Grey Wolf Court, Warsaw, had a contusion to the face. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

Tiger Basketball Opens Season With Win Over Columbia City
On a night where the Warsaw football team was honored before the game, another Tiger team with high expectations going into the season made its 2024 debut. The Warsaw boys basketball team tipped the season off at the Tiger Den against Columbia City, and after battling for the better part of the game, the home side pulled away in the final minutes to win the opener 62-53.
