Luann Anderson, 94, of Lake Placid, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, at The Manor at Lake Jackson in Sebring, Fla.  
Luann was born on July 24, 1930, in Chicago, and she was the daughter of Dorothy Nettleton and Benjamin Turner. Luann has been a resident of the Lake Placid area since 2018 moving there from Fort Lauderdale.
Luann was a homemaker and full-time housewife. She was of the Christian faith who enjoyed bowling, playing card games, traveling, boating on the waterways and working around the house. She loved to be with her family and friends whenever they could get together especially time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Luann is preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Robert W. Anderson. She is survived by her four loving children: Larry Anderson, Lynn Anderson Hely, Kim Anderson, Kurt Anderson; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service to celebrate Luann’s life will be held noon Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Central, 499 NW 27th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with family and friends.
