This December, Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts will present “Miracle on 34th Street: The Musical,” a heartwarming holiday classic brought to life on one of the country’s oldest theatreintheround stages.
Running from Friday to Dec. 22, this production promises to be a festive treat for audiences of all ages, according to a news release from the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts.
Adapted from the 1947 film, this musical features a book and score by Meredith Willson, the creator of “The Music Man.” The story follows Kris Kringle, a jolly and mysterious man who claims to be the real Santa Claus. As he works his magic to bring joy and belief back to a skeptical world, he faces a legal battle that puts the true meaning of Christmas to the test, stated the release.
Directed and choreographed by Artistic Director Scott Michaels, this production features a stellar cast of professional actors and local youth performers, showcasing Wagon Wheel’s commitment to artistic excellence and community involvement.
