Watching small segments of the Democrat Convention immediately reminded me of the Oscars. The fact that the entire exposé is produced and directed by the Hollywood wing of the Democrat party is typical of a political party devoid of ideas to help Americans. They parade around in some sort of self-congratulatory circus of billionaires speakers, entertainers and a who’s who list of party favorites that never once acknowledged the plight of the impoverished murder capital of the world, right outside the doors of their prime time extravaganza.
In reality, the Democrat party committed the first political coup in the history of this country. They forced the incumbent president who received 14 million primary votes to just step aside and just not run for another term, which he was just elected to do! Our Constitution has no provision for this. They could have invoked the 25th Amendment if they felt he was no longer fit to serve, he could have resigned. In either case, Kamala Harris would become president, but there is a process that must be adhered to for the selection of a new candidate. You just can’t decide on a new candidate for the presidency of the United States without a single vote!
Why then would the Democrats sidestep the Constitution when they could have Kamala run as an incumbent president? Would you even think of voting for the cackling dimwit we’ve watched for the last 3-1/2 years? They had to remake her, separate her from the failed policies of the administration. She was, after all, “the last person in the room” when the Afghanistan withdrawal was decided. She was the tie-breaking vote for two major spending bills, which triggered the massive inflation which has crippled our country, and she was the border czar which opened the backdoor to our country for the world to walk right in.
The bold defiance of the Constitution, the apparent deaf ear to over 70% of Americans on the three major issues of our time and the contrarian approach to our economic troubles indicate a frightful disinterest and contempt for the citizens of this nation. It’s almost as if they already know they’ve won the election no matter how many votes Trump gets. The Democrat presidential candidate campaigned from his basement in 2020 and somehow received 81 million votes. I suppose Kamala Harris can avoid telling the country anything she plans to do if she were to win the election. She can avoid any questions the voting public may have of her. After all, she’s a Democrat.
Remember, you can vote a Communist into power, but can’t vote them out.
