Overdose Awareness Event Is Aug. 30

WINONA LAKE - An Overdose Awareness Event is being held at the Winona Lake Limitless Park, 1598 Park Ave., Winona Lake, at 6 p.m. Aug. 30 in recognition of Overdose Awareness Day.
This is a free family event, and everyone is welcome to attend.
Community partners will be available to share information and answer questions, including Allendale Treatment, Allendale Behavioral Health, Fort Wayne Recovery, Bowen Health Clinic, Kosciusko Cares and Fellowship Missions.
Resources will be provided, along with free Narcan.
Black balloons (on paper) will be available for writing messages or sharing the name of a loved one, etc.
Snacks and beverages also will be available.
