Michael Green, 67, of South Whitley, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice.
Michael was born on Dec. 14, 1956, in Havana, Ill., to Lawson and Rose Wells Green. On March 16, 1980, he would marry Judy Tangman.
He graduated from Havana High School and continued on to honorably serve as a U.S. Army Ranger Airborne.
He worked for Dalton Foundries and previously was a vice president in the United Steel Workers and would retire in 2012. Michael enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping and fishing and was a Fort Wayne Komets hockey fan.
Michael will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy, of South Whitley; sons, Chris Green, of Pierceton; Clint Green, of Warsaw; daughter, Echo (Darren Fields) Green, of Pierceton; brother, Gary Green; 12 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in passing by both parents, brother, Steve Green; and sister, Cheryl Spencer.
Services will be held at a later date.
