As the countdown to the November general election continues, Kosciusko County Clerk Ann Torpy wants to make sure voters are well informed of when and where they can vote.
Early voting begins in the clerk’s office in the Kosciusko County Justice Building, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw, on Oct. 8 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Early satellite voting location is the North Webster Community Center, 301 N. Main St., North Webster, on Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Voters are able to request an absentee ballot to vote by mail. Forms are available in the clerk’s office or at the Indiana Voters website. Deadline is Oct. 24. Mail ballot applications require a voter to provide either their Indiana driver's license number, last four of their social security number or their unique identification number issued by the Indiana Statewide Voter Registration System. They may also send in a photocopy of their ID, according to information provided by Torpy.
Voter registration deadline is Oct. 7. This deadline will include voters who need to update their address in the voter registration program. They may visit the clerk’s office or the Indiana Voters website to verify and register.
