Carmen Sipes, 82, of Syracuse, passed away on Aug. 14, 2024, at her home.
She was born on March 7, 1942, in Alexandria, Ind., to Gustav and Selma Beckley Tulowitzky. Carmen retired from GM in Anderson after 10 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Denna Miller, of Willits, Calif.; her son, Lance (Heather) German, of Leesburg; five grandchildren: Shanna Phillips, Coty Miller, Kennedy Miller, Wyatt German and Abby German; one great-grandson, Lucas Phillips; one sister, Eleanor Wisehart, of Alexandria, Ind. She was preceded by her son, Wade Miller; three brothers: Bob, Jerry and Bill Howell.
Services for Carmen will be held on Monday, Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. at Eastlund Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Calling will be two hours prior to the service from noon until 2 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at the Milford Cemetery.
