Bookings
The following people were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 6:01 p.m. Tuesday - Carter Gage McGillem, 20, of 502 S. Detroit St., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery - simple assault. Bond: $1,000.
• 6:26 p.m. Tuesday - Phillip Jeremy Kessie, 49, of 5935 S. Woodland Lane, Warsaw, arrested for felony failure to appear, theft and criminal mischief. Bond: $5,750.
• 7:20 p.m. Tuesday - Grant M. Slater, 35, of 316 EMS C28 Lane, Warsaw, arrested for criminal trespass and resisting law enforcement. Bond: $750.
• 9:20 p.m. Tuesday - Damien Wayde Petersen, 34, of 506 S. Detroit St., Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $500.
• 10:19 a.m. Wednesday - Austin Joe Newsome, 25, of 112 S. Morgan St., Mentone, arrested on a warrant. No bond set.

Incidents
• 2:01 a.m. Tuesday - A traffic stop was initiated for a person operating a motor vehicle intoxicated with a prior and a warrant in the 1200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated
• 8:47 a.m. Tuesday - A traffic offense was reported for a person driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspension in the 3600 block of Commerce Drive, Warsaw. WPD.
• 5:07 p.m. Tuesday - Domestic battery - simple assault was reported in the 3600 block of Commerce Drive, Warsaw. WPD.
• 5:08 p.m. Tuesday - A warrant was served in the 4800 block of East Lake Shore Drive South, Warsaw. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
• 8:59 p.m. Tuesday - A warrant was served in the 400 block of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. KCSO.

SYRACUSE - The Wawasee School Board on Tuesday approved a guaranteed maximum price amendment to its contract with MKS, the contractor for the Milford Elementary School project.

Warsaw Dominates Northridge For Hepler’s 100th Win
Winners of seven straight coming into Tuesday night’s home game against Northridge at the Tiger Den, the Warsaw volleyball team continued to take care of business in conference play, remaining unbeaten (3-0) in the Northern Lakes Conference with a 3-0 victory over the Lady Raiders. The Lady Tigers have now won 17 straight conference games.

County Opens Bids For CR 1300N Paving
Two bids were received for the county’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) resurfacing project for a portion of CR 1300N and three other county roads at Tuesday’s county commissioners meeting, and they were within $6,000 of each other.

Greer Receives Nationwide Scholarship At Commissioners Meeting
Zak Greer is the latest child of a Kosciusko County employee to receive the Nationwide Retirement Solutions Scholarship.
