Shrine Club Committee Recognizes Donors As 100M Contributors

On Wednesday, the Shrine Turkey Shoot Committee recognized Curt Ebersole and Don Wallen of Two Bear Arms with a 100 Million Dollar Award. Two Bear Arms has contributed over $1,100 in firearms, specifically the Youth .410 Shotguns, awarded to those children 12 and under at the Annual Shrine Club Turkey Shoot. Mike Wilson, of McHatton-Sadler, was recognized for his contributions of Henry Rifle raffle guns over several years. The annual Turkey Shoot will be held Sept. 14 and 15 at Beeson’s Gun Club in Etna Green from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features raffles, a large silent auction with items donated by local merchants, cash prizes, food, fun and fellowship. The public is invited to attend and assist the Mizpah Shrine Temple and Kosciusko County Shrine Club’s philanthropic mission to benefit the Shrine Children’s Hospital. Warsaw Falls To Carroll In First Home Boys Volleyball Game
History was made at the Tiger Den on Tuesday night, as for the first time in school history, a boys volleyball team took the floor for a home game. One of two new IHSAA-recognized sports for the 2024-25 school year, boys volleyball made its debut in Kosciusko County as Warsaw hosted Carroll. Each game was close, but it was the Chargers that left town with a 3-0 win.
