AKRON – Norma L. Hammond Lee, 88, formerly of Akron, died at 6:11 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne.
Norma was born July 12, 1936, in Akron, to Russell L. and Carrie I. Churchill Swihart. She was married Feb. 4, 1972, in Ohio, to Gene L. Hammond, who died March 31, 1999. She later married James C. Lee, who died Feb. 9. 2022.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron, with Pastor Dennis Goff officiating. The interment will take place in the Akron Cemetery, Akron.
Visitation hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
