Oris M. Newsome, 85, previously of Claypool, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024, at Miller’s Merry Manor.
Oris was born in Drift, Ky., on June 12, 1939, to James and Elvy Younts Hull. She married Noah Newsome on July 18, 1955.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 10 to 11 a.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ward “Etsie” Allen officiating.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
