AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation (TVSC) is welcoming students and families back for the 2024-25 school year.
The first day of school for all TVSC buildings is scheduled for Friday, according to a news release from TVSC.
To help families prepare for the new school year, TVSC will be hosting open house events at each of its schools. These events provide an excellent opportunity for students to meet their teachers, familiarize themselves with their classrooms and drop off school supplies.
Open House Schedule
• Elementary schools (Mentone Elementary & Akron Elementary): 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
• Tippecanoe Valley Middle School: 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday
• Tippecanoe Valley High School: 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday
Additionally, at 4:30 p.m. during the middle school’s open house, Kyle Wieland, the principal of Tippecanoe Valley Middle School, will be speaking. This is a opportunity for parents and students to ask questions and hear directly from him about the upcoming school year, stated the release.
TVSC encourages families to bring their school supplies on Thursday and drop them off in their classrooms during the open house events, stated the release.
