I knew it wouldn’t be long before our progressive colleague from Winona Lake would insert herself as the critic for the letters section. However, I think her infuriation stems from constantly trying to defend the indefensible, trying to form some cogent argument to explain the thoughts and antics for her geriatric executive hero. I can only respond to the critique of my statements, of course, but I’m sure the other letters section contributors will likely rebuff the unsolicited reprimand by the fact-checking gestapo.
Joe Biden has aided Russia, Iran and China. The moment he shut down the Keystone pipeline and announced his war on fossil fuels, he ignited the economies of Russia and Iran raising the world oil prices from $40 to over $85 today. He waived the oil sanctions imposed by President Trump on Iran, unleashing the world’s leading sponsor of terror to once again wreak havoc on the Middle East, funding a heinous attack on innocent Jews and disrupting trade in the Red Sea. Biden’s marriage to the whims of the donor class and their Green Deal ideology has not only made America dependent on China for EV batteries, it revived a struggling China economy.
Biden didn’t return all the classified documents in his possession, the FBI recovered them! They found classified documents which were taken by Joe Biden and stored at seven different locations in three different states. In contrast, President Trump had all his documents stored under lock and key at his residence at Mara Lago. The Federal Archives people knew it, the FBI knew it, the DOJ knew it, and in fact President Trump never hid anything from anybody. The Presidential Records Act specifically gives the president the authority to declassify documents so he technically didn’t have any classified documents. There is no such provision for senators or vice presidents, so unlike President Trump, “Lunch Box Joe” clearly illegally removed and was in possession of thousands of classified documents that he had haphazardly stashed across 3 different states!
My critic goes on to say that my assertion that Joe Biden is guilty of the very thing he accuses Donald Trump of doing is ass backwards ... really. You can’t listen to the main street media, Jo Biden or any other Democrat speak without hearing them claim Trump is a “threat to democracy.” It is their new talking point and it illustrates my statement. The Democrats have long practiced a communication tactic called projection. Heralded by socialist Saul Alinsky and mastered by his disciples Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama, it seems to have been passed down to the whole party.
I enjoy reading and contributing to the Times-Union Letters section It is a place where people of all political and social persuasions can exchange their opinions. I think they all are fair minded people trying their best and we don’t need an umpire. Besides, I don’t think the “shirt” really fits you.
