April 30, 2024 at 6:51 p.m.

Marion H. Aleman, of Warsaw, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He passed away at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. He was a God-fearing man who lived a long and fulfilling life in his 93 years on this Earth.
He was born on Jan. 19, 1931, in Alma, Mich. Marion was one of 11 children born to Perfecta Hinojosa Aleman and Martin Aleman. Marion was married on March 23, 1963, to Mary June Shrader. June and Marion just celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. They shared a lifetime of memories from raising their son, to celebrating the joy of becoming grandparents and great-grandparents.
Marion graduated from Warsaw High School and attended two years at Ferris State College in Michigan. He was great with his hands and had a mind for being able to fix anything. He worked as a mechanic for many years until taking up carpentry. Marion put his carpentry skills to work for Warsaw Community Schools until he retired in 2001. Always a smiling friendly face who was always available to help out when he was able to. He loved praising his Lord alongside his church family at Pathway Church in Warsaw . Marion enjoyed the simple things in life, which were also the most important … his family. He was a loving husband, wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. Marion is now whole again in Heaven!
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, June Aleman, Warsaw; son, Michael (Cynthia) Aleman, Warsaw; four grandchildren: Jordan Aleman, Hannah (Steven) Jamison, Brittany (Sam) Weaver, Cristiana (Ryan) Riner; and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Tony Aleman, Lansing, Mich.; Joe Aleman, Norfolk, Va.; and four sisters: Amy De La Cruz, Pierceton; Frances Gonzales, Michigan; Julia Quintanilla, Duran, Mich.; Sarah (Terry) Wildfong, Grand Rapids, Mich. He was preceded in death by his grandson, John, in 2010, three sisters and an infant sibling.
Marion’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 at Pathway Church, 2402 W. Old Road 30, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Jarod Osborne. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
