2 Killed In Plane Crash In Elkhart Co.

Two people were killed in an airplane crash Tuesday in Elkhart County.
According to a news release from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, dispatch advised that an airplane had crashed in the 52000 block of CR 21 in Bristol. The initial responding officers located a small fixed wing aircraft in a wooded area. Preliminary investigation revealed two occupants in the aircraft were dead.
Due to the preliminary nature of the investigation, no additional information was released Tuesday.
The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office is being assisted by the Elkhart County Coroner’s Office, Bristol Police and Fire Departments, Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board.
