Editor, Times-Union:
I am writing to endorse Tracy Wilson for the Kosciusko County Coroner. I have had the honor to work with the past three county coroners, and in that time also had the privilege to work with Tracy as deputy coroner.
I’ve been a firefighter for the past 35-plus years and a ground and flight paramedic for the past 25 years and have seen and worked closely with Tracy during very desperate and difficult scenes both with death and living patients. Her care and compassion during these times has been and true blessing for the families involved.
She has devoted the last 20 years learning and educating herself with every aspect of the coroner’s office. She does this because her heart is truly imbedded with helping console and find answer’s for loved one’s in times of great hardship and sorrow. Her involvement as a paramedic on the street has furthered, her compassion, for the living and understanding a patient’s fears and confusion during times of emergency. Her caring nature helps to ease’s the fears and anxiety of these patients during difficult times. And when a loved one has passed, her only concern is to help families through very difficult times with very rough and sometimes unknown decisions that are coming in the next few days.
I have seen with my own eyes the dedication to these families and I’m proud to endorse her for this role and Kosciusko County coroner with 20 years of experience as deputy coroner there can be no other choice for this office.
