IAW Begins Hydrant Flushing April 29

April 22, 2024 at 9:40 p.m.


Beginning Monday, April 29, with a planned completion date on or before Wednesday, May 8 (no planned work during the weekend), Indiana American Water will be performing hydrant flushing throughout the entirety of the Warsaw/Winona Lake system.
All Indiana Department of Environmental Management standards will be followed during these activities. No major effects are expected.
Temporary drop-in system pressure will be localized to a small are around the hydrant being flushed. Some ponding my occur in areas with poor drainage, but this will be minimized as much as possible, according to a news release from Indiana American Water.
