Parkview Health Named ‘Best And Brightest In Wellness’

Parkview Health has been named a Best and Brightest in Wellness company by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) for the sixth time.
Parkview was one of 11 companies nationally selected in the first round of awards for 2024, according to the release from Parkview.
“Taking care of our co-workers is important to enable them to take great care of our patients,” said Kristen Ruble, well-being manager, Parkview Health. “By serving our more than 16,000 co-workers with programs to support their physical and mental health, they can remain fully engaged in their jobs and give their all for those they serve and care for every day.”
Parkview’s My Well-Being program provides a variety of services including health and lifestyle programs to help people eat better or get more active, physical activity challenges and intramural sports opportunities and checkup tools to gauge mental health. Within the last year, Parkview also introduced new programs including allowing time off for mental health days and the new Parkview Pups program, which brings certified therapy dogs into facilities to visit co-workers and boost their spirits.
“Being recognized for our wellness initiatives six consecutive years is a testament to the stellar work our My Well-Being team does for our co-workers,” said Dena Jacquay, chief administrative officer, Parkview Health. “Parkview has grown significantly over the past six years and as we continue to recruit new co-workers, we want them to know that we’re always ready and available to support them in their career.”
The Nation’s Best and Brightest in Wellness winning companies were evaluated by an assessment created and administered by a leading wellness research firm. Each entry was examined statistically for quantitative and qualitative data. Each survey was scored on a point system based upon criteria to benchmark and improve wellness program effectiveness. They include outcomes, analysis, tracking, participation and incentives, benefits and programs, leadership, employee input, culture and environment.
