Terry Joe Warren, known to most as Terry, was a hardworking individual who excelled in many areas of his life. He dedicated several years to boat companies such as Chris Craft, Rinker and others, showcasing his skills as a "jack of all trades." In his later years, Terry committed himself to AIA Counter Tops, now Patrick Industries, in Syracuse.
Terry was born on Jan. 14, 1959, in Gary, to Ira and Roberta Atkins Warren. He had a reputation for being ornery and sarcastic, yet he carried a sense of pride and strong opinions which defined his personality. His hobbies included woodworking, bowling, participating in dart leagues and being an avid Payton Manning fan.
Terry passed away on April 12, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital. Preceding him in passing includes sister, Cheryl Ensign; and his parents, Ira and Roberta. He leaves behind his best friend and wife, Debbie Butler Warren, to whom he was married on Dec. 29, 1990. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Polly (Lloyd) Smith, from New York state; brother-in-law, Neil Ensign, from Hobart; brother-in-law, Michael (Cindy) Butler, from Georgia; many nieces; nephews and a large extended family.
Terry's life will be celebrated at a later date. His family is grieving privately at this time. Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.
