Purdue Extension is hosting a Ladies Night Out event for women in agriculture to grow their livestock skills.
Purdue Extension will be partnering with a local large animal vet to provide a Hands-on Livestock Care workshop focusing on how to properly ear tag and give injections, while also discussing the importance of vet-client relationships.
The event is called “Ladies Night Out” to hopefully encourage women in the livestock industry to come but all individuals are welcome to join.
This event is scheduled for May 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kosciusko County Extension Office, 202 W. Main St., Warsaw.
The cost for the evening is $20 to cover supplies and dinner will be provided.
To register, sign up today at: http://bit.ly/LadiesLivestock. Registration will end on May 14.
