Lakeland Christian Academy To Present ‘Once Upon A Mattress’

WINONA LAKE – Lakeland Christian Academy will present "Once Upon a Mattress" on Friday and Saturday.
This musical comedy tells the story of the Princess and the Pea. No one in the kingdom can marry until the prince finds a wife, so a search for a true princess is started - but the queen gets in the way. The newest princess, Princess Winnefred, seems to challenge the queen's plans.
With music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer and book by Jay Thompson and Dean Fuller, this light-hearted show is perfect for the whole family and makes for a perfect night at the theatre, according to a news release from LCA.
Show times are 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets can be purchased in person or online at www.lcacougars.com/buy-tickets. General admission costs $10, student and alumni tickets cost $7, senior citizen tickets cost $5 and children 2 and under come free.
This production will be held at LCA‘s main campus, 1093 S. CR 250E, Winona Lake.
