Anita Miller, of Warsaw, peacefully passed away unexpectedly in her home on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the age of 78.
Born on March 19, 1946, in Fulton County, to parents Harvey and Elizabeth Zellers Smith. Anita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
After graduating from North Miami High School in 1964, Anita went on to marry her husband, Kenny Miller, in June of 1965. The two shared their lives raising their two daughters, Lisa and Lori. Anita dedicated 45 years of her life as an Avon lady, bringing smiles and beauty into the homes of many. Her commitment to her career was a testament to her strong work ethic and passion for connecting with others.
Anita had a zest for life that was reflected in her many hobbies and interests. She had a special love for Christmas, evident in the collection of over 37 Christmas trees that were a different theme every year. She was an animal lover, especially when it came to cats and birds. She also enjoyed her collection of clocks and was an avid reader.
Anita is survived by her loving husband, Kenny Miller; daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Hawley and Lori Miller; grandchildren: Maryssa Hawley, Kevin Hawley, Jared Hawley and Khareus Miller; as well as her beloved fur babies, Princess, Fluffy and Gibble. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in passing by her parents; brothers, Neil and Jim Smith; and many past fur babies whom she loved dearly.
Titus Funeral Home is entrusted with the care of Anita. Friends and family may gather for visitation there, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw, on Friday, April 12 from 3 until 7 p.m. At 7 p.m., her funeral service will begin with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 15 at 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Please meet at the entrance at 10:45 a.m.
