NORTH MANCHESTER – Joseph A. “Joe” Adams, 78, Andrews, died April 7, 2024.
Joe was born in Portland, Ind., on Dec. 21, 1945, to Albert Lagar and Irene “Delain” Hassan Adams.
Joe entered the United States Army. He served his country in Vietnam. On July 8, 1978, he married Barbara “Barb” Stoltzfus.
Survivors include a child, Ada (Brady) Burgess, North Manchester.
A celebration to honor Joe’s life will be Saturday, April 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. A military service will be held at the conclusion of calling and will be performed by American Legion Post 286 and the United States Army to honor the time that Joe selflessly gave to his country.
For those who wish to honor the memory of Joe Adams, memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Health Foundation, in the memo line, Transformative Cancer Care Fund, 3844 New Vision Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46845.
