The Magical Meadows’ annual Rise Up fundraiser event is set for April 27 at 5 p.m. at the Meadows, 3386 E. CR 525N, Warsaw.
This event celebrates the milestones that take place through the healing power of horses and remains the organization’s largest fundraiser, according to a news release from The Magical Meadows.
“We are so excited to host the event onsite at our facility this year,” said Tammy Stackhouse, founder of Magical Meadows. “We invite the community to join us in the barn to learn more about our programs, to hear testimonials from our riders, and celebrate together right here where miracles take place.”
Magical Meadows is a place where those with physical, cognitive or emotional challenges can experience the healing power of horses. Through programs at Magical Meadows, riders improve physical health, relax tight muscles, increase balance, build muscle strength, sharpen hand/eye coordination, improve social skills and gain a sense of independence, stated the release.
The goal for Rise Up this year is to raise $100,000 to continue enhancing these programs. This is possible through community donations, business sponsorships and those attending the event.
“Words can not express how much the community’s support means to us. Through these donations, lives are being changed for those families who need us most,” Stackhouse said.
Tickets are $75 each and includes a catered meal with a live and silent auction. Attendees are encouraged to wear denim and diamonds to Rise Up this year. Those interested in attending or supporting the fundraiser can sign up online at themagicalmeadows.org/daytoriseup or call 574-265-3085.
