Muncie Woman Arrested After Pursuit Ends In North Webster

A woman was arrested after a pursuit crossing county lines Thursday.
According to information provided by Indiana State Police Sgt. Jeremy Bryce, on Thursday, Amanda Summers, 33, Muncie, was driving in the Columbia City area when an ISP trooper attempted to stop her vehicle.
Summers refused to stop and drove westbound on U.S. 30, then drove north on Ind. 13. A North Webster officer was able to put out stop sticks.
Summers’ vehicle then hit a vehicle stopped in the roadway at the intersection of South Main Street and George Street in North Webster. No information was available on the driver that was hit.
Summers was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a prior, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a serious felon, possession of a schedule 1 controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated - endangerment, the information states. She was booked into the Whitley County Jail.
