Warsaw Man Injured In Elkhart County Crash

A Warsaw man was injured in a two-truck accident in Elkhart County Thursday morning after he allegedly failed to yield the right of way.
James Ullery, 73, Warsaw, was traveling south in a 2005 Kenworth dump truck on East County Line Road through the intersection with CR 38 when he failed to yield right of way to a 2020 Freightliner box truck, according to an Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office crash news release. The box truck, being driven by Keasha Carr, 33, Kendallville, was westbound on CR 38.
The accident occurred at approximately 8:38 a.m. Thursday.
Ullery was taken to Goshen Hospital by ambulance for chest pain. Carr was taken to Goshen Hospital by ambulance for injuries to both legs and chest pain.
Ullery was issued a citation for failure to yield.
The dump truck had damage to the driver’s side. The box truck had damage to its front end.
