In the 1970s, people the likes of Stephen Schneider and other seemingly smart people began making incredible predictions that the earth’s climate was cooling. They went on making predictions that the earth was entering a new ice age, receiving grants from the government for their research and stimulated the imagination of a growing left wing climate cult, a fast growing group who almost wish for the demise of the planet. The predictions of a rapidly approaching ice age came and went.
Since the pounding mantra of global cooling faded, the climate group changed their slogan to global warming, after all, we have to threaten the world with some kind of impending apocalypse. The chant of global warming was advanced by a former vice president, Al Gore, who made himself a multimillionaire pedaling his snake oil to anyone who would listen to him. He hired Hollywood to create a documentary “The Inconvenient Truth” to stir the world into a frenzy over impending global warming that would cause the melting of the polar caps, raising ocean levels along the eastern coast and putting a large part of Florida under water. Well, the statute of limitations had run out long ago on Al’s predictions.
The slogan of the left today is “Climate Change.” This all encompassing term is perfect for the chicken littles of the world. Now every hurricane, every tornado, every dried up mud puddle is because of Climate Change! The climate is changing. It has always been changing ever since this planet started spinning on its axis, but the left wants us to believe that with enough money, we can somehow prevent this change from happening.
On Jan. 15, 2022, a large volcanic eruption occurred on the ocean floor at about 700 feet down, near the island of Tonga-Hunga in the south Pacific. It vaporized what the scientists estimate to be the equivalent to 78,000 Olympic size swimming pools of water and sent it into our atmosphere. Physicist Brian Harding from UC Berkley and NASA scientists have determined that many of the recent unusual weather anomalies we have been experiencing around the world this past year can be attributed to this eruption. The massive water vapors are dispersed into the earth’s stratosphere and act as a giant magnifying glass changing weather patterns and intensifying their effects. So the hot summer, the floods, and droughts are not a results of the fossil fuel “Climate Crisis,” it’s not sun spots, and it’s not Godzilla. It is simply, a not so rare, natural geological occurrence.
Fear is a dangerous thing. The Democrats have been using it to advance their cause and to enrich themselves for decades. Joe Biden runs around blaming fossil fuels to be the cause of devastating fires in Maui, and hurricanes in Florida, all in a deceitful ploy to convince Americans to fall for their Green Deal. A fantasy used to redistribute trillions of dollars, lining their pockets and enriching our advisories all while casting America onto the ash heap of once great civilizations. Joe Biden and the Democrats should take heed of their scare tactics, for “He who troubles his own house will inherit the wind.” (King James Bible)
