Grant Magner was awarded a special recognition from the Lake City Concert Association (LCCA). In all but three years of over 30 years, LCCA has been providing a variety of live entertainment for Warsaw and surrounding communities. Due to declining membership and increasing costs due to the COVID interruption, LCCA had its farewell concert on Sept. 10 in the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center with a concert by the Purdue Glee Club, according to a provided news release. Grant has been the president of LCCA and its membership chairman for many years. He and his wife, Annette, LCCA secretary, worked to keep the organization and its many concerts afloat for many seasons for the Warsaw community. The LCCA Board of Trustees was very proud to present the award to Grant at the final concert with the Purdue Glee Club. Grant is a very proud alumni of Purdue and his family has a history of many Purdue graduates, according to the news release.
