AKRON – Daniel R. “Danny” Ashby, 67, of rural Akron, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at his residence.
Danny was born Aug. 28, 1956, in Warsaw, to Charles Foster and Virginia Marie Ellis Ashby. He was married on March 5, 1977, in Claypool, to Betty Shriver; she survives.
Following his wishes, no services will be held at this time. There will be a private family gathering in his memory at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
